Mr. Speaker, over the past 10 years of Liberal governance, the number of vehicles produced has declined from 2.3 million to 1.2 million. Exports have dropped significantly in the past year. Can the Bloc Québécois member comment on those numbers? Does he know how far the number of cars in Quebec has fallen over the past 10 years and what impact that has had? Can he comment on that?
Mr. Speaker, Sainte‑Thérèse was once home to an auto manufacturing facility, and even though Quebec no longer manufactures cars, it remains a very important industry in that province. Parts and engines are still manufactured there, for example. Thousands of workers are employed in that industry. Can the Bloc Québécois comment on the impact that the Liberal's policy is having on Quebec and on [more]
Mr. Speaker, conflict in the Middle East is not new, but never have we seen it spill onto the streets of Canada in the way it has under the Liberal government. It reminds me of some words of a certain reptile in thenamed Kaa, I believe. The minister says, “Just trust in us. Do not listen to all these religious organizations, all these churches, synagogues and [more]
Mr. Speaker, yesterday, coming from the airport, I had the cab driver tell me, unsolicited, that he wanted Israel wiped off the map, and I have to assume Jews also. What we are seeing in Canada is an 800% increase in hate speech. This craziness has happened under the Liberal watch in every respect. An Iranian dissident I knew was killed in Vancouver last month. This is going on. The Liberals [more]
I'd like to thank the witnesses for being here. It's a pleasure to see you, Mr. Léger. As I told you before the meeting, I went to Simon Fraser University. If I was still a student there, I would register for your class. In my completely unbiased opinion, Simon Fraser University is the best school in Canada. Voices: Oh, oh!
