Before his appointment to the Senate in 2024, Duncan Wilson had a long career as a senior public servant in British Columbia. He held several high-ranking positions, including Deputy Minister to the Premier and Head of the BC Public Service. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the province's public administration.
