Duncan Wilson

Before his appointment to the Senate in 2024, Duncan Wilson had a long career as a senior public servant in British Columbia. He held several high-ranking positions, including Deputy Minister to the Premier and Head of the BC Public Service. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the province's public administration. Wilson also served as British Columbia's Conflict of Interest Commissioner, an independent officer of the legislature responsible for advising on and enforcing ethics rules for elected officials. Earlier in his career, he reportedly worked in the private sector, including in the resource industry.
